Back to Bangkok + Birthday Trip - My birthday dinner@4Nov

決定去呢間Le Banyan


一心就係想去食血鴨, 仲要食完有張號碼既証書...


見到另一blog度既人都有不錯既comment


睇完網頁既menu...


發現......妖~ 要2個人先可以叫血鴨....(我本來都打算...睇到隔離叫走去痴一份, 因預左係2set, extra一份會另收 $)


最後放棄 ~ (下次要找人陪我去試先得)


我堅持要食餐既野


email去book, 點知出發前都無reply,


到步第2日就自己打去book 8點(佢星期日唔開,所以要星期一先打去,佢晚上開7點,所以選晏少少到先步)


Le Normandie


以前已去過一次, 點知貴,但我都要去試dinner,因為個feel會好一點


因為怕塞車, 所以先坐Sky train,再轉酒店既專用shuttle boat !


可能我唔係準時7點入坐,所以無window seat 坐


不過個setting我都好鐘意



8點半後已full house, 勁呀 ~



先黎一杯champagne rose 及一杯水



台階上另有3張枱,不過就唔係面向河既



好鐘意呢個有N字既牛油



有好多款包包提供,我要左2個 ~



complimentary appretizer (我食到有蜆, 懷疑係crab打成的foam)



忘記告訴大家, 我食呢個係Degustation menu (6 courses + matching wine)


第一道: Dover sole fillet and smoked salmon serving with melted poached egg


Riesling "Reserve", Trimbach 2004, France



我一心就係試酒, 其實係網上已睇左少系menu, 已決定左係食呢個, 所以到步後我根本無再睇menu食乜, 全部都係靠當時既味覺


呢個dish非常得,賣相係你估佢唔到,上面似雪糕既物體就係個蛋,食完半隻蛋下面就見到3片魚...最特別既就係用意粉做左個basket裝住d魚....真係amazing !



第二道:Chestnut velvet soup with white truffle oil and pan fried veal sweet breads


Chateau Ville Bel-Air, Appellation Graves Controlee 2005, France



個湯係就係特別....不過入口就一般左d ~ (但係就非常match杯酒, 完全無搶去任何味道)


第三道:Roasted Brittany lobster with corral butter served with smoked beetroots and butter head lettuce emulsion


Chablis "L", Laroche 2006, Burgundy, France



賣相就一流,不過..可能第一道太吸收了, 而且...開始飽飽地...反應遲鈍哂 ~



第四道:Wild Duck served in red wine caramelized pears, juniper berry flavoured apples and wild mushrooms


Crozes Hermitage "Les Jales", Paul Jaboulet 2002, Rhine Valley, France



好怕隻鴨果陣味呀.......................................................................................


事後waiter同我傾計,問下我個degustation menu點, 我答佢我最欣賞杯Riesling, 個dish既賣相就好吸引, 我好怕鴨既味,佢話呢個時間係打野鴨既季節喎! 不過杯紅酒就好正 !


我去完toilet, waiter就同我講,幫我準備左個window 位 (因為d人開始走架嘛!)



你話係唔係超讚呢d心意呢 ~  唔同花花架 ~



第五道係Cheese Platter,不過佢話可以改為fruit,咁就即係要生果喇,我都唔好芝士既



第六道:Parfait of Nougat and pistachio with ginger emulsion and cherry jus accompanied by crunchy lavender


Sauternes A.O.C.,Borie-Manoux 2002, France



下面2舊既ginger味...好香, 上面既crunchy脆脆好好味,亦完全well match杯dessert wine~



食飽飽,當然要杯earl grey tea喇 ~



鄧鄧鄧, 此時, 我係玻璃既反影......我份禮物出場喇


(呢幅相係我事後返酒店時影返既, 因為我相機唔會係呢度高級地方度閃閃閃光燈既)



亦好多謝restaurant既細心,幫我影左2張相 (不過因為無開閃燈, 唔多靚)


之但係亦唔打緊...因為佢地有用佢地既機同我影, 我以為留record. 哈哈哈

用folder幫我入住, 仲要係影完3mins內比到我...surprise~


Petits Four ! (有部份少少甜)呢個係枱枱都有架 ~



影完相,佢都好醒咁話幫我將件cake pack入box....


埋單走人時,仲送上一小盒既2粒古古力 (每人都有既)



你話呢度係唔係好冧呢 ~


既然係食得咁開心,就當然唔mind價錢...唔記得左幾$ lu!

    今日臨放工又開始頭痛..個琴學生又發媽媽脾氣,差d無堂上,又要去安撫佢,我就黎上床瞓架喇 ~今日好攰呢

  4. 我從未試過食咁多 dish 既一餐呢....
    因為驚 --> 1. 自己咁多都食得哂....(仲唔肥c)
                       2. 食唔哂,浪費呀!
    anyway,你真係揀左一間好好既餐廳......又細心,service 又好好!可惜,我今次去唔到你鄉下...如果唔係,我一定會去食!
    ps. 呢餐果然係開心生日飯呀!

  14. 我都去過Le Normandie食晚餐呀,都係一個人去,個經理同啲wait staff好好人,仲送咗本全球著名法國菜餐廳嘅靚靚書(Le Normandie係東南亞唯一一間)俾我。
     
    雖然一個人坐三粒幾鐘,但係真係值得呀。我叫咗鵝肝做頭盤,乳鴿做主菜,梳乎利甜品,樣樣都好好味,貴都值得呀!

  17. 碟碟都整得好精美呀!個大廚真係有心機呢!要落咁多工夫去整每道菜喎,肯定超貴呢!你真係捨得,俾我可能唔捨得用咁多錢喺食嗰方面。
